“I See You.” PointerWare’s Video Chat Feature Is Coming Soon!
The blue folks on Avatar won’t be the only ones proclaiming, “I see you.” Our new video chat feature for PointerWare is coming out in just a couple of weeks. Now, seniors and their supporters will be able to see each other and talk in “real time” with PointerWare’s phone feature running on Skype.
Time and again, users and their supporters tell us how much they love PointerWare’s voice mail feature. “It’s great to read an e-mail but it’s especially comforting to hear mom’s voice.” Now you’ll be able to see your mom (or dad or grandparent) too.
While we always new it would be a great way for families to have “live” conversations, our beta testers came up with some other interesting uses for video chat. Here’s what one tester told us. . .
“It was really great when mom had someone in to do some work. We started a video chat before the worker arrived and left it on during his visit. It was like I was there and I felt much more comfortable with mom inviting someone into her home.”
And we promise, it’s just as easy to use as PointerWare’s other features. How easy? Let us give you a sneak peak. . . .
Choose someone to call from your address book . . .

Or dial a number directly.

And when a call comes in to a PointerWare user, this is what they’ll see. . .

Check back soon – we’ll let you know as soon as it’s available.
